"The Call of Cthulhu" Assignment

The narrator found several interviews, diaries, and newspaper clippings in Prof. Angell's box.  Your assignment is to recreate one of these artifacts from the spring of 1925.  It can be:

• A news report of the insane antics of people in a different country
• One of Prof. Angell's interviews with an artist
• Wilcox's dream journal excerpt
• A police report of a violent, insane criminal
• Doctor's notes about a patient in a sanitarium
• Wilcox's bas-relief (there are some pretty specific descriptions of this clay sculpture)
• A piece of artwork or poetry created by one of the artists during the time which reflects the terrifying dreams of "Cyclopean vistas" and unnameable horrors.

Your writing should be at least three paragraphs, and no more than two pages typed.  If you create an artists's artifact, include a short paragraph describing how and when it was created.  Remember, Prof. Angell is the only person (as far as we know) who makes the connection that all of these events happen at the same time.

Your FIRST DRAFT is due Tuesday!  You will have a chance to revise and polish your work.  If you're doing a piece of artwork, let's say have it at least half way finished.
