For each question, cite at least one example from the book (Page, Line).

1.       Explain how Odysseus is both WISE and FOOLISH as a hero.

2.       Compare and contrast Odysseus and Telemachus.

3.       How did Odysseus's journeys and adventures change his character?

4.       We saw how The Odyssey was adapted into a major motion picture (Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?).  Explain another work of literature or narrative media (film, TV, etc) that you feel reflects plt, character, or themes from The Odyssey.  Cite at least three parallels to that text.

5.       Explain how the theme of "home" is illustrated in The Odyssey.
